Tamara Falvai, M.S., L.Ac. has been dedicated to the practice and study of
integrated medicine since she started earning her Masters of Science degree
in Oriental Medicine. She is licensed to practice acupuncture and Chinese
herbology by the state of California. She has maintained a private practice
in Sausalito, CA since 2006 where patients have been receiving care through
acupuncture, herbs, cupping, moxa, dietary advice, electro-acupuncture, and
Tui Na massage. In addition, she also works at a clinic in San Francisco
called Acupuncture Kitchen. She is currently in the process of receiving
her CMT (certified massage therapist) in order to offer her patients more
expertise and comfort. Because every woman loves chocolate, Tamara is part
of an amazing group of acupuncturist that are starting a line of medicinal
chocolates called Apothecary Chocolates.
Tamara graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachlor of
Arts in 1999. After graduation she traveled extensively throughout Asia and
South East Asia. Upon moving to San Francisco, she received her clinical
training at American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and now holds a
Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine. While in school, Tamara
interned with P.Q. Kang, L.Ac. and LiFang Liang, L.Ac. at their respective
clinics in San Francisco. Tamara has since completed postgraduate study in
sports medicine/pain management, integrative cancer care, woman’s health and
infertility, and facial rejuvenation.
In her free time, Tamara loves to spend time outdoors, especially in the
mountains. Traveling and spending time with some amazing friends is always
enticing as well.
